This is the ultimate adrenaline seeker’s trip for this wanting a more full-on experience in the Soca Valley. From our adventure base in Bovec all of the activities are located in the valley and nearby emerald waters of the Soča – a stunningly beautiful river with its source above Trenta valley in the heart of Triglav National Park and running down to the Italian Adriatic. The upper stretch of the valley runs through the beautiful Julian Alps and is a magnet for adventure sports lovers – offering a dizzying abundance of water and mountain activities.

Day 1: ARRIVAL

Arrival day – check in to your accommodation followed by trip briefing with our holiday representative in Bovec.

Day 2: RAFTING

Rafting descent

Start: 09:00 or 5:00

Equipment: helmet, life jacket, 3mm neoprene suit, jacket, neoprene shoes

Required personal equipment: swimsuit, towel, T-shirt

River section: Boka Waterfall – Trnovo ob Soči

Difficulty: I-III (IV)

Duration: cca 1,5 h (on water)

Day 3: KAYAKING

Day 4: CANYONING

Canyoning Fratarica

Start: 09:00 or 5:00

Equipment: canyoning harness, figure-of-eight, twin belay rope, helmet, 5mm neoprene suit with integrated hood, 3mm neoprene socks

Duration: cca 2,5 h (in the canyon)

Day 5: MOUNTAIN BIKING

Mountain biking

Day 6: CAVING

Caving – Srnica

Start: 09:00 or 15:00

Equipment: caving suit, helmet, climbing belt with safety rope, double cord, carabiner, figure eight

Day 7: ZIPLINE

Fly 2.4 km, 40-60 km/h, 130-200 metres above ground!

ZIP-lining Slovenia

The unparalleled views of the Soča river, Soča Valley and Bovec is guaranteed to take your breath away. The Zip-line park is located in the Alpine valley of Krnica on the edge of Mt Kanin, renowned as Slovenia’s highest ski resort!

What is Zip-lining?

Zip-lining is similar to a theme park ride and consists of a pulley suspended under a cable spanning between two high points. There is no engine and gravity alone will pull you along between designated points.

The Slovenian Zip-line Adventure

The zip-line adventure begins with a drive up the mountainside in the instructor’s 4×4 car and the car drive is in itself worth the money for it’s 10km scenic mountain views. Once we reach the start of the Zip-line, you will be harnessed onto the zip-wire and prepared for your flight. Suspended above the trees you will whizz down the line to the base of the mountain. The zip-lines are in total 2.4 kilometres long, comprising of 4 lines approximately 500 metres each. The estimated top speed is 40 – 60 km/h and you will be flying 130 – 200 metres above the ground No particular fitness level or special skills are required – you only need a strong heart, a sense of adventure and a willingness to have a go!
