While the valley as a whole is still largely forested and free from the clutter of human occupation, there are also parts where you can relax and indulge yourself in the simple comforts that one would expect from a popular tourist destination. You can stay in a beautifully renovated glass paned hayrack, in a magical wooden tree-house or a luxurious suite in the old barn where modern comfort meets traditional architecture. Unusual accommodation and superb culinary pampering will delight all who love nature and the smell of fresh wood. All units were largely built using traditional wood crafting methods and techniques. They are nature friendly and include all the comforts one expects from a luxury guest house.

- Sleeping in a luxurious hayrack: a traditional Slovenian hayrack looks perfectly ordinary on the outside, but it’s upper floor hides a luxury apartment. It has a bedroom, a living area and a bathroom while the lower floor houses a ‘meditation nest’ with a private hot tub. What an amazing way to spend celebrate or enjoy a romantic weekend with your partner or a special friend!
- The wooden tree-house is raised between the crowns of linden and larch trees. It offers a magnificent view and a private jacuzzi on a terrace. A wonderful weekend treat awaits here in Savinja Valley.
- Above the old stall we have two modern, vibrant, spacious and beautifully furnished suites. They are very comfortable and offer you an indoor jacuzzi with a lovely view on Savinja river and the nearby forest.
All of these unique units are equipped with comfortable walnut beds, a bathroom, a terrace with a river view, WiFi, mini bar and TV. And there will be soft bathrobes, designer felted slippers and chocolate pralines waiting for you…
‘Cuisine in the House Raduha is only but a sequel and homage to the stories of three wonderful cooks – my mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. My credo – I am a lover of shapes, colours, scents and flavours. It is no coincidence that the expression “good taste” has spread into all branches of art and life. I do my best to make the dishes speak for themselves and for me. Through well-made dishes I try in my own way to convey nature to my guests, with a little spice of course. Constant imagination and inventiveness are in the nature of the culinary profession. As I want to combine culinary knowledge, tradition and innovation, I am in a constant search of new ideas and flavours. Tradition is wealth for which I feel deep respect and try to pass it on to the next generation. The whole family is part of this culinary corner that gives us a chance to freely express ourselves.’
