Located beside the magnificent Savinja river and amidst the mighty peaks of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, Camp Menina is one of the best camping spots in Europe and is an ideal location for active families or adult groups. Here, you have the opportunity to learn about the life of local people, to explore unspoilt nature, and to enjoy peace and tranquility far from the hustle and bustle of city life. Our restaurant menu includes a variety of typical local meals such as zlinkrofi, struklji, goulash, strudel, trouts…we offer a relatively small menu, but we serve grey portions and tasty food! Basic menu is mixed grill, trouts, goulash, pastas, steaks, fruits, ice cream, pancakes… And every day we have one or two specialties of the day made by Jurij’s mama! PA DOBER TEK! In the restaurant we also organise culinary events and lessons mostly teaching guests how to make authentic Slovenian goulash and apple strudel! We have excellent white and red wines (Laški Riesling, Rhine Riesling, Šipon, Ranina, Traminec, Muscat Ottonel, Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Merlot, Teran, Cabernet) however, our Slovenian liquers are also renowned including mead, slivovitz, pearl brandy – what better way to relax on a warm summer’s evening!
