River Kayaking

A kayak is a small craft that you paddle solo, surrounded by friends, while guides ensure your safety on an unforgettable excursion. You will be able to enjoy unspoilt nature and the turquoise river Soca and its rapids. Before you start on the river, we will explain, demonstrate and teach you on dry land everything you need to know for a safe trip. Several different trips are available:

Volce Bridge-Most na Soci:

We recommend this trip to all beginners who would like to experience the attractions of kayaking on their first trip. You'll paddle along a completely calm section of the Soca, and the trip will end on the lake at Most na Soci. This excursion is ideal for adventure-minded families with young children.

Kamno-Štruca:

We recommend this trip to beginners who would like to experience "something more" on their first trip with a kayak. We will explain and demonstrate some of the basic kayak techniques used for stopping, crossing and joining the main stream. We can also spice up the trip for the most courageous with a kayak jump from a height of 2 to 3 metres.

Girtlca:

Girtlca is a section that offers an ideal springboard from difficulty level 2 to difficulty level 3. We recommend this excursion to everyone looking to enjoy kayaking as a regular sport, since this section allows you to perfect all the techniques you will need later on more demanding sections of the Soca, such as "Zenska" and "Otona".

"Zenska" and "Otona":

To kayak down the "Zenska" and ''Otona'' sections you need kayaking experience and the ability to do the  Eskimo roll. We recommend this excursion to all those who want to make progress in their kayaking skills while enjoying all the attractions of the sport. The section allows you to perfect all the kayaking skills that help improve your kayak "rodeo" technique (freestyle).

Once you have chosen your trip, our guides will distribute all the necessary equipment (paddle, neoprene suit, windcheater, helmet, spray skirt, life jacket and neoprene shoes) at the agency.

We will also make sure your exploits are immortalised in photographs, and there may well be other pleasant surprises during your day!
