FAQ

1. Where do we meet?
Outside the Maya Centre in Tolmin. Alternatively, we can make arrangements to meet elsewhere, e.g. at the activity location itself. If you get lost, call 051 312 972 and someone will come and find you!

2. Do we need special equipment?
For water activities, just a swimsuit, a towel and a big smile; for other activities, gym shoes and comfortable sports clothes. And of course a good mood.

3. What about safety?
It is important to be aware that all outdoor activities include a certain degree of risk, and this should not be underestimated. We can, however, reduce risk to a minimum, which we do by using highly trained and experienced guides who satisfy all requirements for the individual activities, and by observing safety rules covering every aspect of safety from your arrival at the centre to your happy return. Additionally, only high-quality, fully-tested equipment is used for all activities.

4. Are we covered by insurance during the activity?
Yes - all of our customers are covered by accident insurance although we do recommend that you take out ordinary holiday insurance for the duration of your trip too.

5. What abilities are we expected to have?
None of the activities require any previous knowledge or experience. Normal physical and mental health and the ability to swim in the case of water activities are all that is required. We do not accept guests under the influence of alcohol and other psychoactive substances. Our activities are not recommended for pregnant women. Guests with certain pre-existing health conditions (asthma, various injuries, etc.) are advised to consult a guide.

6. What does the   symbol on the website mean?
The activities on our website are also classified by the level of courage the individual activity requires from the participant. The more "pants" in the symbol, the more demanding the activity. For example, the lowest level is , which means that the activity is undemanding and experience is not necessary..
on the other hand, represents the highest level of courage and means that the activity is an extreme activity which will produce a lot of adrenaline. The participant must be a good swimmer (in the case of water activities – e.g. hydrospeed).

7. Can an activity be cancelled and when?
An activity can be cancelled because of poor weather conditions such as an excessively high water level in the case of water activities or rain in the case of the adrenaline park.

CANCELLATION POLICY

8. What happens if it's raining?
We know from experience that rain simply makes water activities even more fun! Once you are in the water, you forget about the rain, or rather you start to enjoy it – and the unique mist clouds that form just above the surface of the water are beautiful.

9. Is there an age limit?
It depends on the activity. Some of the more demanding activities such as hydrospeed, canyoning and classic rafting have a lower age limit of 15 or 12. We also have activities especially aimed at children, such as family rafting.

10. Do I need to book an activity in advance and how can I pay?
All holidays must be booked and paid in full at least 4 weeks prior to travel date.
